Whilst the passenger's sun glasses aren't that authentic, the way he's got his foot on the dashboard absolutely is

@CElliottUK: Come on Chris - he's wounded with an injured right eye - that's why he's in the medic's jeep. Is the definition that bad ? :-)
Looks so incredibly authentic, although at first glance Chris could be excused for thinking that bandage was like Shane Warne's sunglasses :-)

@Curly: I'm not too sure about excusing him Curly.................after all one does have certain expectations from the owners Canon EOS 1-DX s don't you think ?
Doh! Grovelling apologies! I really did think that they were sunglasses. I'm obviously not awake yet!

straight out of M.A.S.H. ... ;-)
it amazes me how much of the old material - vehicles, weapons, uniforms, ... - is still around, and how many people seem to take great delight in these re-enactments !!!

I could tell and I only have three fuji's, much cheaper than that big Canon, used to drive those jeeps back in the 60's WW II hand-me-downs and when on a long convoy we always rest our feet on the dash, those British guys just too strict:) Was it a big Canon that got that guys eye you think?

The appearance of the foliage that envelops the frame gives the appearance that you're about to ambush them! :-) I love how relaxed that front passenger looks. Great capture!

Fantastic image! I love that the lady medic is driving the jeep! I guess it would have been more interesting if she was the gunner! I am really enjoying this series!

Brilliant I am not concerned about the sunglasses/bandage .... but is the Medic applying lipstick?!?!? (looks like Elizabeth Arden Peach Sorbet) Happy ST Nigel.

All of them, including the Jeep should be a little bit dirty to give more realism to the scene ;-)) Another great shot of this interesting scene ...
